FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you have any more events planned for 2025?
This will be our final hands-on event for 2025. We will have 2-3 more hands-on events in 2026. We also have a mailing list you can join to learn about future events here. At this time we do not know where our 2026 events will be located or when they will be scheduled. We typically at least have one spring and one fall event.
What CEUs are available?
This event offers up to 25.5 AANP CE credits and 26 ACNM CEUs.
Can I still get tickets for the event?
Yes, tickets are still available!
What should I expect on event day?
Each group will have four students per instructor. The days are long and involve a continuous scanning schedule, so if you need to step away for a restroom or personal break, feel free to do so—just come back when you're ready. Breakfast and snacks are not provided, but lunch is included each day. During lunch breaks, we will host an informal session introducing the Midwife Certification Exam. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with instructors, ask questions, and gain insights on confidently integrating ultrasound into your clinical practice.
Please arrive prepared and ready to begin learning. This event will be two full days of scanning and working with ultrasound equipment. You are welcome to print out slides from the online course for reference during the event (these will not be supplied on-site). We recommend drinking plenty of water, bringing snacks as needed, and wearing comfortable clothing and shoes—since you'll be on your feet most of the day.
Can we travel with a friend or colleague?
Yes! Many of our participants travel in small groups. If you travel with a friend or colleague, you can request to be grouped with them when you fill out your registration paperwork. Each group has four participants, so keep that in mind when making your request. This is also a great way to save on travel expenses, as you can opt to share a hotel room, travel together by car, etc. The ability to be grouped with a friend or colleague comes on a first-come, first-served basis. We will try our best to accommodate every request, but the sooner you submit your request, the better. This also applies to large groups. As long as we have enough tickets available to fit your group size, we will can accommodate your group.
I've already purchased the online course and/or completed the online course. Do I need to take it again?
If you have already purchased the online course, we will refund you the amount you paid for the course once you purchase your hands-on event ticket, as the online course is included in your ticket. If you have completed the course, you do not need to take it again. We will just want your certificate of completion before you attend the event. If you purchased your online course before April 1, 2024, we will also give you free access to the updated online course, which will continue to be updated over time. You can reference it if you ever need a refresher.
What skill level is the hands-on scanning course for?
Any skill level is welcome to attend. We have participants across the spectrum when it comes to skill. In the registration paperwork, we ask about skill level so we can best group people where they fit, and our instructors are prepared to meet each group at the skill level they are at.
