FREE Ultrasounds for pregnancy and GYN! (You do not have to be pregnant)
This is NOT hosted by a government or religious organization. These are medical professionals interested in gaining more experience in ultrasound.
We’re hosting a Hands-On Scanning Event at The Midwife Center in Pittsburgh, PA and we’re looking for volunteers at any stage of pregnancy (or not pregnant but wanting a GYN ultrasound!) The ultrasounds are completely FREE, and all you need to do is sign up for a date and time that works best for you.
About Ultrasound for Women’s Health Providers:
We are not affiliated with any government or religious organization. Our mission is to provide free ultrasounds to educate women’s health providers (Nurse Practitioners, Midwives, and Physician Associates) on Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). We also offer continuing education credits through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
You do NOT have to be pregnant to sign up as a volunteer, in fact we need many GYN slots filled too! Just write in N/A to anything not applicable to you on the sign up form.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple scans.
If you are under 12 weeks pregnant, please note that you cannot schedule back-to-back appointments. You must allow at least an hour between each appointment.
Family-Friendly Event: Feel free to bring your kids or family members along! This is a great opportunity for them to learn more about the ultrasound process. You’re welcome to take as many photos and videos as you’d like during the experience.

Important Scheduling Information!
If a time slot is showing as available, you are signing up for that open appointment.
Please do not select every time you are available. Instead, choose the specific time slot you would like to attend. You may select more than one slot, but please only do so if you truly plan to attend each of the appointments you sign up for.
If a slot is available and you submit your registration for that time, that is the appointment we will confirm for you.
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 business hours.
Please note that weekends are not included in this timeframe. Since you are selecting an available time slot, the confirmation email will simply verify the appointment you chose, so please plan to attend that scheduled time.
Your confirmation email will include all of your date and time details.
