FREE Ultrasounds for pregnancy and GYN! (You do not have to be pregnant)

This is NOT hosted by a government or religious organization. These are medical professionals interested in gaining more experience in ultrasound.

We’re hosting a Hands-On Scanning Event at Premier OB/Gyn in Weslaco, TX and we’re looking for volunteers at any stage of pregnancy (or not pregnant but wanting a GYN ultrasound!) The ultrasounds are completely FREE, and all you need to do is sign up for a date and time that works best for you.

About Ultrasound for Women’s Health Providers:

We are not affiliated with any government or religious organization. Our mission is to provide free ultrasounds to educate women’s health providers (Nurse Practitioners, Midwives, and Physician Associates) on Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). We also offer continuing education credits through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

You do NOT have to be pregnant to sign up as a volunteer, in fact we need many GYN slots filled too! Just write in N/A to anything not applicable to you on the sign up form.

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple scans.

If you are under 12 weeks pregnant, please note that you cannot schedule back-to-back appointments. You must allow at least an hour between each appointment.

Family-Friendly Event: Feel free to bring your kids or family members along! This is a great opportunity for them to learn more about the ultrasound process. You’re welcome to take as many photos and videos as you’d like during the experience. Please note that only ONE support person can go back into the room at a time due to space, so if you bring multiple support people they will have to take turns.

Esto NO está patrocinado por el gobierno u organización religiosa. Estos son profesionales médicos interesados en adquirir más experiencia en ultrasonido. Estamos organizando un evento práctico de escaneo en Premier OB / Gyn en Weslaco, TX y estamos buscando voluntarios en cualquier etapa del embarazo (¡o no embarazadas pero que quieran un ultrasonido ginecológico!) Los ultrasonidos son completamente GRATUITOS, y todo lo que necesita hacer es registrarse para la fecha y hora que mejor se adapte a sus necesidades.

Acerca de los proveedores de ultrasonido para la salud de la mujer:

No estamos afiliados a ningún gobierno u organización religiosa. Nuestra misión es proporcionar ultrasonidos gratuitos para educar a los proveedores de salud de la mujer (enfermeras practicantes, parteras y médicos asociados) sobre el ultrasonido en el Punto-De- Atención (POCUS). También ofrecemos créditos de educación continua a través del Colegio Estadounidense de Enfermeras Parteras (ACNM) y la Asociación Estadounidense de Enfermeras Practicantes (AANP).

¡NO es necesario estar embarazada para inscribirse como voluntaria, de hecho, también necesitamos que se llenen muchos espacios de ginecología! Simplemente escriba N/A (no aplica) a cualquier cosa que no sea aplicable a usted en el formulario de registro. Los voluntarios pueden inscribirse para múltiples escaneos. Si tiene menos de 12 semanas de embarazo, tenga en cuenta que no puede programar citas consecutivas. Debe permitir al menos una hora entre cada cita.

Evento familiar: ¡Siéntase libre de traer a sus hijos o familiares! Esta es una gran oportunidad para que aprendan más sobre el proceso de ultrasonido.
